Press needs a fact checker every now and then
OK, so it is pretty funny, someone added some unflattering comments to the wikipedia page on the Black Eyed Peas. That's not what I'm kvetching about this time. Hack? Seriously? No, editing a wikipedia entry, which by design is crowd sourced, is not 'hacking'. It used to be that a hack was an accomplishment, a way to use code in unexpected ways. This got corrupted into meaning unexpected vulnerabilities only. But editing a publicly accessible page is not 'hacking', in any sense of the word. It sounds good, like 'Journalist Sets Fire to English Language' but it's not exactly true in any sense of the word. Please stop doing this.
